Development of a measurement method for the noise exposure in the external auditory canal

Description

The laboratory of industrial acoustics at ÉTS is developing, in partnership with l’Institut de Recherche Robert-Sauvé en Santé et Sécurité du Travail (IRSST), new methods and devices for measuring noise exposure levels in the auditory canal.

The Ph.D. project targeting the development of such measurement method will be available as soon as January 2015. If you are interested in acoustics, algorithms development, instrumentation and measurements applied to innovative solutions, this project is made for you !

Funding

This project is funded by IRSST. The student may also benefit from a university-business partnership grant (Industrial Innovation Scholarships Program – NSERC/FQRNT) or a grant from the Mitacs-Accelerate internships program as long as the eligibility criteria of the targeted program are met.

Other information
